Method of use
MEC-1 needs to be applied directly to the affected area. It is best to rinse the affected area first, apply MEC-1 and leave it for around 20 minutes before washing off.
Applications
MEC-1 can be used either neat or diluted with water or kerosene/diesel. Dilution rates vary so tests for suitability are advised. Usual working dilution is 5% (so 5 litres of MEC-1 makes 100 litres of working dilution).
The product is excellent at removing general dirt, oil and other hydrocarbons from metal and other surfaces. Built in corrosion inhibitors prevents cleaned parts from rusting. Our blend of environmentally friendly solvents and surfactants removes the need for use of chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons or caustic.
